Whitewater
Kayaks and Playboats
The kayaks we stock tend to be those which, because of their rocker
profile, are those which are most suitable for surfing Cornish beaches
in addition to whitewater paddling. As well as Dagger and Pyranha
kayaks we can also supply Prijon and LiquidLogic whitewater kayaks
and playboats to order.

Dagger
Dynamo
£315
Not strictly a ww kayak but a superb training kayak for youngsters
under about 5ft 2". We consider it the best of the kids
kayaks because it is narrow which helps them a lot with using
shorter paddles.

Whitewater kayaks: these days the phrase tends to mean high
volume kayaks suitable for kayaking grade 5 and grade 6 rapids,
the phrase "river running" kayaks is also used.
Freestyle kayaks: radical, short kayaks with low volume an
planing hulls for performing tricks on stoppers and standing waves,
often known as "Playboats".
Surf kayaks: any of these kayaks can be used for surfing
but specialist surf kayaks are more like waveskis
and have less rocker and 3 fins to control the boat on the wave,
