Design
Good volume distribution with enough volume on rails for stability yet tight enough for response.
Hullform is unusual with prominent centre concave and a fair bit of vee on the rest of the hull, especially good for steep waves.
Rocker is excellent with plenty of lift through to the nose.
Planshape is full through the mid section but pulled in nicely at the nose and tail.

Surfing
First test ride 28th May on the Animal 85. I'm 68kg so a bit small for this one but Pete is 78kg so a good size. We also used the supplied large centre fin (twice the size of the outside fins) which I hope to replace with a third small fin. Conditions; 4-5ft light onshore beachbreak with both slack and dumping waves. Verdict, easy paddle out, very fast to take off and could take late drops both straight and angled without much getting used to it. Needs an aggresive carve with a lot of paddle to whip a turn but that is with the big centre fin. Seemed very forgiving, easy to use "out of the box" but really need to loosen it up a bit for a real trial. more soon.

Specification:
Moulded popout; polyester/glass skin filled with 2 part polyurethane foam under pressure.

Finish; lacquered paint finish with nice sprayjobs, "seamless" pinline free (on most)
Finboxes; Macski own style, means fins cannot be adjusted (like boards), fins are typical hooked SA style for drive.
Seatbelt; Fixings are moulded in, choice of Macski belt or Wild Things ss flip plate
