You'll be amused but Jeremy Hall has now come back from his trip to Cornwall and the intention was that I would buy his old boat, and Tania would buy the second boat that he came back with.
Well Tania bought his old one and I have now bought the new one and I wanted to tell you how much I really like it. It is a smashing little boat, a delight to paddle, well balanced, wonderfully stable, tracks really well and isn't hard to keep in a straight line.
Brilliantly comfortable, I felt right at home immediately and by half way through a trip around Poole harbour it didn't feel like a new boat but something I had been paddling for ages and was really fond of.
Other than the fact that it will prove a very versatile addition for the family, it represents a lot to me personally as I can put it on and take it off the car without help which means I can now go out for a paddle alone.
I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with it.
