Berwick kayak club

I would like to express my complete satisfaction with the three 'Wild One' kayaks which I purchased on behalf of the Berwick kayak club in September 2000. The club had ordered 13 new kayaks from various makers at that time and we found that Wild Things were the only one to deliver on the stated date (within two weeks) and all of the kayaks were 'white water ' ready.

I have used a 'Wild One' on grade 2 water on the Teith, Callander, and Spey in the Highland region (Cairngorms) and on the Whiteadder in Berwickshire. I have also used it on a grade 3 rapid on the Whiteadder. The kayak handled well under these conditions and was great fun to paddle.
The children within the club have used the kayaks on grade 2 water and over drops on the Whiteadder. They all loved these kayaks and liked the look of the boats which are 'cool' to paddle. The children have also used them in the surf at Eyemouth Bay when it was found that the boats were great fun and handled well On the last occassion in November a BIG gentle swell was rolling in which the 'Wild One' ate up with ease.
Yes, I am a fan of the kayak. I use a 'Wild One' as my coaching boat on the river and am very pleased with the amount of gear it can carry but still retain its handling capability. I am a 4 star paddler and trainee level 3 coach on sea and river.
